Lot 1 Ken Onion lockblade flipper, marked "Ken Onion, Hawaii". 5" closed. This leading knifemaker/designer invented the assisted opener, the workable flipper, along with dozens of designs for Kershaw, Columbia River, and others. His show schedule has been restricted of late due to back issues, and with his emphasis on designing if you want a Ken Onion knife you need to get it while you can find it. Lot 2 Al Pendray forged hunter made from a rasp, with the serrations of the rasp left in spots for effect, straight tang, bead blasted micarta handles, unused, pouch sheath. 10 3/4" oal, 5 1/2" blade. Al is a former President of the Knifemakers Guild and is best known for being one of the principal people to rediscover the elusive wootz Damascus. It was such a big thing at the time the discovery was featured in a multi-page article in Scientific American Magazine. Al's shop burned and as he has been rebuilding it has added to the scarcity of his knives. Here's your chance. Couple of spiderwebs on the back that look like they were original to the knife.
