Lot 1 R E. Purvis Damascus folder. Mastodon ivory handles, 4" closed, sapphire thumbstud, fileworked backstrap in a vine motif, mosaic Damascus bolster, dovetailed, anodized liners, tiny bit of specks here and there. (Look close at high res photo). Purvis has been making knives for over 20 years after retiring from General Motors. He lives in Arizona. (82-287-glotz) Minimum bid $150.00

Lot 3 Hiroaki Ohta English style one blade folder. Exquisite stag, bar shield, grooved bolster, 3 7/8" long closed. Ohta has been making knives full time since 1998, and was a motorcycle racer. He lives in Tokyo, Japan. (82-290-glotz) Minimum bid $200.00

Lot 4 Doc Hagen locking liner, fileworked anodized liners, blade back, and backstrap, sapphire thumbstud, stag handles with fileworked pin heads. 4 5/8" long closed, mint. (82-291-glotz) Minimum bid $100.00

Lot 5 Frank Dilluvio locking liner Damascus folder. Pearl handles, Damascus bolster and blade, anndoized titanium liners, 3 5/8" long closed, mint. This Michigan maker is a long time Knifemakers' Guild member. (82-293-glotz) Minimum bid $150.00

Lot 6 D. W. Childress pearl handled locking liner with a pearl thumbstud, 3 3/8" long closed, mint. Childress is from Spring, Texas and started making knives in 1963. Among his teachers were Ruffin Johnson and Glen Hemperley. (82-294-glotz) Minimum bid $90.00

Lot 10 Mike Dilluvio locking liner, jigged red bone handles, anodized titaniuum bolster and liners, engine turned liners, fileworked backstrap and curved dovetail bolsters. Mint. 3 3/4" closed. Lot 16 Western Cutery progressive steps of production board, showing how to make a folding hunter. Pre-1960, even has bone handles on the board. One of the rarest pieces of cutlery history that is possible to find. In 40 years of collecting I have owned one Remington, one English, One Craftsman. I've seen a Case one. And this is the only Western I have ever seen other than the fixed blade board also offered here. Rope logo dates to the 50's. Boulder mark dates them pre 1961. (82-278-jkc) Minimum bid $200.00

Lot 33 Union is the only mark on this stacked leather washer hunter, fingergrooved, sheath is marked, "Genuine Kabar leathercraft." Has been cleaned to exc. 8" oal, 4 1/4" blade. (82-013-bbn) Minimum bid $25.00

Lot 34 Three Hammer Brand fixed blade knives, hard rubber handles. Larger is 9 1/2" oal with a 5" blade and leather sheath is embossed with the Hammer brand logo as well. There is a crack at the guard. Two smaller knives 7 1/4" oal, 3 1/2" blade both exc. One sheath has logo embossed on it, other is a modern Western replacement. (82-014-bbn) Minimum bid $30.00

Lot 57 Case 1980's dots Cabela's trapper. Never sold through stores and only available one year through the Cabela's catalog. Spay blade is etched with the Cabelas logo and is serrated. Mint (82-039-bbn) Minimum bid $40.00

Lot 60 Moving window advertising knife. Through a window in the handle the knife reads "Buy Wise" with the knife closed. As the blade is opened it also slides a panel under the window--so when the knife is completely open it reads, "Buy Life." When the blade is closed it goes back to the original panel. Soccer player inlaid into imitation ivory handles, German made, no tang mark but salesman's sample on the back, and two baseball bat figurals, both with "Babe Ruth" on the handles. Lot 77 Trio of Columbia River knives. Ikoma Sampa, Snap Lock etched "Thank You, Shot Show 2004" --these were not sold but gifts to friends, media, customers at the SHOT show.
