Lot 137 Western States butter and molasses celluloid handled 3 7/8" serpentine stockman with groved bolsters and blade etched with the buffalo skull etch reading "Western States Sharp Cutlery Premium Stock". Lot 147 Western USA 532 lockback with "A" mark and Western etched on the blade. Fancy version with engraving on all four bolsters, black composition handles and a diamond shield that is engraved (with white scrim emanating from the shield). Lot 172 WWII Era Western called the "Commando" model. According to Harvey Platts' "The Knifemakers Who Went West" Western was called upon to produced a special knife for a Marine special ops unit. Likely this model, and note the sheath has the pins for connecting to WWII belts. Mint. Stacked leather washer handle. 11 /4" oal, 7" blade, has been cleaned, near mint.
