Lot 1 Moran elaborate hunter by the legendary W. F. Moran. Fileworked blade back, fileworked guard, silver wire inlay in the curly maple handles, 10” oal, 5 3/4” blade. Mint, and as sometimes found in one of Bill's later knives there is a small occlusion from the forging process. Leather pouch sheath. Mastersmith mark on the reverse of the tang. Lot 11 Chubby Hueske ivory micarta handled hunter with leather sheath. Chubby was one of the founding members of the Knifemakers' Guild.
